PineCone, The Piedmont Council of Traditional Music will proudly put on their Winter Music Festival this Saturday and Sunday at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh.The first night features Raleigh's own Tift Merrit with a special appearance by Raleigh's Community School Choir, the one and only Kris Kristofferson, Tony Rice Unit, Telluride Bluegrass band champion Bearfoot. Sunday's 2:00 pm performance showcases the very best in traditional and contemporary Bluegrass with famed mandolin player and singer Ricky Scaggs and his band Kentucky Thunder, Dale Ann Bradley, Micheal Cleveland & Flamekeeper, plus Danny Paisley and the Southern Grass.
